Archibald - The Way Back Character Concept

The Way Back is a video game idea I have, where the main protagonist becoming an adolescence, leaving his/her childhood imaginations behind. Yet when the beloved pet hamster, Archie, disappears all of a sudden, the protagonist goes in search for him in their backyard, where they live near the woods.
The main character realizes that there's hidden, "small" world behind their house and becomes transported into this new world as a woodland creature, granted by Archie, who is known as Archibald, the master wizard of the Hamlet (location). The woods has become prone to a dark force, and Archie asks his human friend for help.
